Welcome, we are glad you are here!

We are Emily and Amy the co-founders of Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy. We have dreamed of starting our own business together for many years and are so glad our dream has finally come true!

We humbly refer to ourselves as the “dream team” as we have worked closely together as a ST and OT duo since 2017. We first met at a mutual job in early intervention. After our first co-treat session with one of our shared patients we knew that our therapy styles aligned and that we would be a great team. From there we both happened to transition to the same clinic based job where together we helped to open two new clinic locations. During this time we were the sole OT and ST providers who were responsible for building out these clinics and their caseloads. We successfully ran two clinics and developed wonderful teams of therapists along the way. Working together, we have shared many clients, co-treated countless patients, and worked collaboratively with families and their child’s therapy teams.

About Amy: I moved from Indiana to Colorado in 2015 because I love the mountains and wanted to take advantage of the the outdoor lifestyle. In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, trail running, and skiing. I have been married to my husband since 2013 and we welcomed our first child in March of 2025. We love to adventure around Colorado and explore our beautiful state. I love plants and may be categorized as a “crazy plant lady” by some people but who’s to really say.

About Emily: I moved to Denver from Massachusetts in 2016 in search of wide open spaces and mountains that weren’t covered in ice. I have loved living here with all of the adventures I have been able to go on and all of the kind people I have met! I met my husband here and we have made Colorado our permanent home. We welcomed our first child in January of 2025. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family in nature by hiking, skiing/snowboarding, or camping. I also love to travel and would love to hear your travel recommendations!
